If you get it, I'd recommend using a bit of gorilla glue on the joints, but that's my opinion. Anyone a few bricks shy of a full load can put this thing together and you don't have to be handy with the tools either. =P

im handy with a tool, but this was a peice of junk, waste of time and money, youd be better off going to a thrift store and restoring something old. i cant even use this properly, it was such a hassle and ill probably throw it out eventually, just a waste of money

I received the desk in a timely manner, but when I opened the box, I noticed a small crack in the desktop. I contacted Sauder, and they immediately sent me out a replacement, and I didn't need to go through the hassle of resending the cracked desktop. They were great! I would highly recommend this desk...although, if you're not an avid "assembly-required" person, I would suggest calling a friend. I put it together my self in a few hours while watching TV. (Although I have put together MANY assembly required pieces!) :)
