Great Price and Great ProductJuly 24, 2010 ruben I needed to purchase a headset for work, so I went to my local Radio Shack (nothing against this store) and I could have purchased another headset for about 60 dollars that was the same quality as this one, I walked right back out the store went home and purchased it here for way less. The only thing I do not like about this headset is the cord, I wish it was longer, but oh well, good product, recommend it.
Ok sound, but mic sometimes gets loud feedback to ear speakerJuly 16, 2010 Marvin(USA) I'm rating this just 2 because when I talk, it will sometimes put what I am speaking to the ear speaker (like a feedback) and it's really loud to where it astonishes me during conversation with my customers, and thus I loose track of what I was saying. I asked some of my customers though if my voice went really loud sometimes, and they said no, and that it was constant. So it looks like the problem is just on my side.
Poor microphone construction - not noise cancelingJuly 8, 2010 michael cocat(ROSELLE, IL, US) I purchase this headset based on all of the good reviews and the fact that it claimed to have noise canceling abilities, but this is not the case. The sound quality through the ear piece is great, but the microphone picks up everything!! Small sounds from an adjacent room sound as loud as the person speaking into the mic. Also, another complaint of mine was the fact that it comes with a 2.5mm plug instead of the more common 3.5mm. I had to buy an adapter to make it work with my Blackberry Curve.
Very good headsetJune 30, 2010 Karla Miller(Germantown, OH United States) I would have given this item 5 stars across the board if it were not for the first set I owned where the wire had worn out. I think overall this is a very good set as long as you take very good care of it. My first set the wire became damaged - not exactly sure how it got damaged - I believe it may have been damaged being pinched in a desk drawer. The wire IMO could be a little more durable, but other than that this is a very good item. I especially like the volume and mute control.
I definitely recommend this item - as evidence I bought two more of them, just make sure you take good care of the cord!
