-Fast write speeds
-It was pretty cheap
Bad:
-Had corrupt data 3 times in about 20-25 uses. (and I correctly ejected it each time)
-Computer has to think about ejecting for longer than most flashdrives
Ugly:
-I had to redo a lab experiment at school because this corrupt the data
Bought this because I lost my old flashdrive. When I stumbled across my old flash drive, I went back to using it because it's more trustworthy.

I am amazed that the very convenient and powerful CD and DVd bay in my computer is covered in dust; I only use it for pre-recorded material now. This unit is as good as any; there is not much to choose except for capacity and price, depending upon the market vagaries. A footnote: some competitors sell a cantilevered or switchblade design USB memory stick; don't buy them. They are inherently weak and I broke the two that I bought.

I opened the package, plugged it into my laptop computer operating under Windows XP, the drive was recognized immediately, downloaded 7.5 GB of files, unplugged the drive, inserted it into my desktop operating under Windows 7, again the drive was recognized immediately, and I transferred my files without any problems. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
